TRENTON, Mo. - It was a busy start to 2020 for the Trenton City Council. They discussed 11 ordinances at Monday night's meeting.
City administrator Ron Urton told KXCV/KRNW that one big item discussed was the approval of a contract with Kansas City-based engineering company Burns and McDonnell involving the city's water treatment plant.
Other ordinances that city council dealt with include two ordinances that involved updating FEMA floodplain maps, four ordinances involving campers and trailers in town and one ordinance which dealt with repairs to runway lightings at their airport that was damaged during last year's floods.
The next Trenton city council meeting is Jan. 27.
